TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This page outlines the terms and conditions under which you may use the Tamisk Cleaning website (“our site”) and services. These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between the individual using the service (“you,” “the Customer”) and Tamisk Cleaning (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Cleaning Company”).

Please read these terms carefully. By using our site and/or booking a service via email, phone, or online, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from using our site or services.


1. GENERAL SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 Pricing, Parking, and Congestion Charges
1.1.1 All quoted prices are based on estimated completion times.
1.1.2 Tamisk Cleaning reserves the right to amend the quoted price if an on-site assessment reveals additional work is required or if the Customer’s original requirements change. Any revised price must be accepted by the Customer before the additional work proceeds.
1.1.3 The Customer must provide a parking space or valid permit for one vehicle, or pay for metered parking as required for the service to be carried out.
1.1.4 The Customer is responsible for any parking penalties incurred due to incorrect or incomplete information provided.
1.1.5 If the property is in a congestion charging zone, the congestion charge is payable by the Customer.
1.1.6 The Customer must notify us at the time of booking of any valuable or delicate items, including custom-made furniture, which may require special treatment or cleaning products.

1.2 Insurance and Liability
1.2.1 Tamisk Cleaning holds public liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
1.2.2 Claims for damages must be reported within 48 hours of the service. Claims submitted beyond this period will not be entertained.
1.2.3 We reserve the right to withhold confidential company documentation.
1.2.4 We are not responsible for actions by third parties present at the Customer’s premises during the cleaning.
1.2.5 Items of high monetary or sentimental value (e.g., cash, jewellery, antiques) are excluded from liability. Reimbursement for such items will be limited to their current cash value.
1.2.6 Customers are advised to store irreplaceable items safely and avoid requesting their cleaning.
1.2.7 We are not liable for pre-existing damage, including old stains or spills that cannot be removed using standard methods.
1.2.8 We are not liable for damages caused by faulty Customer-supplied products or equipment.
1.2.9 Arrival and cleaning times are estimates, and we are not liable for costs due to delays.

1.3 Subcontractors
Tamisk Cleaning reserves the right to use subcontractors or contracted cleaners for any services without prior notice.

1.4 Claims for Damages
1.4.1 While we strive to avoid damage, accidents can happen. Identical replacements will be sought but cannot be guaranteed.
1.4.2 The Company must be allowed to inspect and repair any damage caused during cleaning. Claims will only be considered if payment for the service is complete.


2. END OF TENANCY CLEANING

2.1 General
2.1.1 Larger rooms (bedrooms over 20 sqm and living rooms over 40 sqm) may incur additional charges.
2.1.2 All personal belongings must be removed prior to cleaning. Failure to do so may result in a £50 surcharge, and cleaning guarantees will not apply to affected areas.
2.1.3 Waste removal is not included in our service.
2.1.4 Hot running water, electricity, and unblocked drains must be available for the cleaning to proceed.
2.1.5 Cleaning of additional appliances or high areas may incur extra charges.

2.2 Cancellations
2.2.1 Cancellations made:

  • 24+ hours in advance: Free of charge.
  • Within 24 hours: 30% of the total booking cost applies.
    2.2.2 The Company may cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

2.3 Complaints and Cleaning Guarantee
2.3.1 Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of service, along with time-stamped photographic evidence.
2.3.2 The Company offers one re-clean per service under its cleaning guarantee.


3. CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

3.1 We are not responsible for the shrinkage of poorly fitted carpets.
3.2 Pre-existing stains may not be entirely removable.
3.3 Customers must remove furniture and breakables before cleaning.


4. PARKING AND CONGESTION CHARGES

4.1 The Customer is responsible for arranging parking and covering related fees.
4.2 Congestion charges are payable by the Customer if applicable.


5. SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS

5.1 Bookings made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to availability and may not be guaranteed.
